• Wrapped Application: Soft hackle feathers are broad enough to be wrapped around hooks sized 10 to 2, creating bold collars on saltwater, steelhead, and salmon flies. Wrapping only the fluffy inner portion produces delicate throating effects for more subtle fly designs, with a natural breathing movement in water.
• Chickabou: The marabou-like feathers at the narrow end of the pelt are finer and more delicate than traditional turkey marabou. This chicken-derived material offers a variety of patterns and colors, such as grizzly, dyed olives, brown, and bright hues, enhancing fly effectiveness.
• Lifelike Motion: Chickabou feathers bring incredible breathing and undulating motion to flies, even with minimal water movement. They can be tied as tails for damsel, dragonfly, and smaller woolly bugger patterns or as throats and pectoral fins on leeches, nymphs, and sculpin flies. Claims for faults and defects must be reported to Nordic Anglers within a reasonable time after the fault or defect was discovered or ought to have been discovered.
