Feather - Teal
These incredibly beautiful feathers come from the chest of the teal duck. They can be compared to the feathers of the mallard duck, but the difference lies in the truly beautiful and distinct markings and in the size, where these are slightly smaller and finer in both stem and fiber.
The feathers are often used for salmon and sea trout flies, but are also excellent as tail/mouth parts on shrimp flies like the Aura shrimp or the suckling pig - however, they are probably best known from the shrimp fly "Polar Magnus".
