Body materials - Polar Chenille

Polar chenille is a type of string with thin semi-transparent "hackle" fibers on it. It is a great alternative to hackles and works really well on shrimp and bristle worm imitations. It is quite cheap and there is a lot in the packages. At the same time, Polar Chenille is a great choice as filler on articulated flies or for intruder flies. Polar Chenille is an excellent material and the possibilities for use are endless. Available in a regular version and a UV version that reflects UV light. It is pure synthetic material with a little flash and therefore does not absorb any water, making it particularly suitable for large flies without adding too much weight.
