This is simply one of the best all-round materials available. It is an incredibly important part of pike flies, coastal flies, baitfish, saltwater flies, salmon flies and sea trout fly tying .
Bucktail is also the only material used for the legendary fish imitation Jiggy. A fine imitation for the Danish coasts. Can also be used as feelers on shrimp flies. At the same time, bucktail is also included in many saltwater flies for tropical fishing. Bucktail is also used by more and more people as hair wings in salmon flies when fishing in fast-flowing rivers.
